Offered is an extremely desirable Jackie Robinson pin from his Rookie Year. The pin measures 1 3/16 in diameter. The pin has a fine image of a young Jackie Robinson set against a white background. Produced by a Philadelphia Badge Company, the edges show no visible wear, even under magnification. The face of the print is bright and clean, with only very light general wear and no chipping or damage. The ribbon has natural toning. Any card or item that can be dated to Jackie's historic 1947 Rookie Season is extremely desirable and prized by collectors, the last public sale for one of these was for $3,660 in October 2025. A great piece to put in a box for a few years given the player and year, this was part of a world class Brooklyn Dodger collection and has been proudly displayed in a home for over 30 years.
