One of the most famous Yankee teams, these are always extremely desirable and prized by collectors. The offered lot came from Casey Stengel's collection. Graded 6.5 by PSA, the ball has 23 signatures. The Joe DiMaggio is unfortunately clubhouse, but the ball is anchored by a vital Rookie Mickey Mantle autograph that is bold and superb. The other signatures include Berra, Rizzuto, Lopat, Reynolds, Bauer, Houk, Sain, McDougald and Brideweser. The Mantle autograph is one of the nicest that we have ever seen on a 1951 or 1952 Yankee ball. Fine lot.
