A very, very tough card that does not get its just due in the hobby right now, these hardly ever come to market. This is a very attractive oversize issue from Mantle's Rookie Season, the image of a so young Mantle looks great. The front of the card displays quite well, with clean surfaces, a perfect photo and no visible creases or wrinkles. Pencil writing on the otherwise clean blank back led to the 2 grade, this displays awfully well for the grade and is a just a great card to add to any advanced Mantle or 1950s card collection.
