This original 1888 Allen & Ginter A16 Tobacco Premium Album page features several prominent 19th-century baseball players, most notably Charles Comiskey and Jack Glasscock, along with Joseph Mulvey and J. Schaefer. The A16 albums were issued as a companion to Allen & Ginter s famous tobacco card sets and are considerably harder to find than the individual cards themselves. This page presents beautifully and offers collectors a more affordable way to own period images of these early baseball stars. Comparable examples of these players in card form can command thousands of dollars, making original album pages an increasingly appealing alternative for vintage baseball collectors. There are typical holes on the left side from the string mount and hardly any general wear.
