An original Game 5 ticket from the 1929 World Series, professionally graded PSA 3 (VG). Issued for the decisive contest between the Philadelphia Athletics and Chicago Cubs, this surviving admission represents a scarce and highly collectible piece of pre-war baseball history. The Athletics secured the championship in five games, led by a Hall of Fame roster that included Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons, and Lefty Grove. As one of the defining teams of the era, their victory marked the beginning of back-to-back World Series titles. A very fine 3, this has rich color and clean edges. There are no visible creases, the corner wear is mild and consistent. The back is clean, the PSA 3 grade appears to be very conservative.
