A terrific piece, this is an original 1939 FDC with the 100th anniversary baseball stamp. Postmarked June 12, 1939, this has a terrific period black ink signature. Penned in fountain pen ink, this is not easy to find for Hornsby. Freshly slabbed, Hornsby is one of the top hitters in baseball history, making the association here significant. D;1962, this is a really nice fountain pen Hornsby autograph.
