One of my personal favorites of all Exhibit cards, you just have to love this iconic image of Gehrig batting. Quite scarce, these were only produced in 1939, Gehrig's final year in baseball, and are missing from almost all Salutation Exhibit sets that come to market. The card is also very condition sensitive, it is rare to find one in the remarkable quality of the offered lot. This card has perfectly clean surfaces and crisp edges. The back looks good, the corner wear is very light for the grade. Much scarcer than Gehrig's Goudey cards and truly his final card, this is a great card to put in a closet for a few years and see where the market ends up.
