The 1935 Butterfingers are among the most fragile cards from the 1930s. Issued on thin stock that can rip or tear in a second, these are extremely difficult to find in quality condition. Freshly slabbed, the offered lot has just a minute closed tear by the left border. Wear is present at the upper left corner, the borders look good, the back is fine. The large image of Gehrig displays really well overall, this is the kind of low grade card that everyone loves as it displays far above the technical grade.
