This is the absolute key card to one of the great color 19th century card sets. Freshly slabbed at the National, this has good color and well defined image. The card has a slight crease by the upper left corner and some minute stains on the front. The corner wear is mild and consistent. The back has no paper loss or damage, but does have a small notation in pencil. Given the status of Anson as the first 3,000 hit club member and premier HOFer of the 19th century, his cards are a veritable bargain in today's market.
