Offered is an extremely attractive large format ticket from 1956. A real piece of history, this ticket was for a game played on October 30, 1956 between the mighty Brooklyn Dodgers and the Japanese National Team (the Dodgers won the game 3-1). While Jackie Robinson did not play in the game, this was a most poignant event as it was the last time Jackie wore Dodger blue. Jackie Robinson famously retired after the 1956 season rather than play for the hated rival New York Giants, so this was also his final day in uniform. The ticket itself has some fine creasing and mild corner wear, the color and imagery look great, the back is clean. Freshly slabbed, this is a great ticket.
