One of the more attractive strip card issues from the 1920s, this card is notable as it is one of so few from Babe Ruth's record-setting 60 home run season from 1927. Freshly slabbed at the National, Nicely cut and quite clean, this is an exceptionally fine card for this set. The edges are crisp, the corners show only very slight wear. The surfaces appear to be perfectly clean, the blank back appears to be flawless. A rare offering, these hardly ever come to market (the red circle variations are the ones that typically trade). The last sale in any grade on VCP was in 2023 for a PSA 3 ($4,512). The PSA population report does not make a distinction between the red and black circle, this card is at a minimum a pop 1/3, it might be the the highest graded card.
