Branch Rickey is one of the singular figure in baseball history and thus American history. Rickey was not the best player in the league and he has hardly any cards as a player. The offered card, from the legendary 1914 Cracker Jack set, is Rickey's most desirable card in our opinion. These are always missing from Cracker Jack and are endlessly requested at trade shows by shrewd collectors. A card that only trades a few times a year, the lower grade here will allow this to fit in the budget for a broad range of collectors. The offered card is well centered, the image is nice, the color is rich. Chipping on the edges, creasing and general wear keep this at a 1. The back has no paper loss.
