A revered and very scarce caramel set, these were produced on very fragile paper, making them supremely condition sensitive. One of the absolute key cards to this great set, this is one of the hardest Honus Wagner cards to find. Slabbed by MBA, the card has a creasing in every direction on the front. The back has creasing and what appears to be extra paper from scrapbook removal. Despite these flaws, the card retains its original color, the image is not bad at all despite the major condition issues. A very rare and important Honus Wagner card from a great set, there have only been two sales on VCP since 2021 (5/2022 PSA 1 $15,606 and 5/2024 PSA 2.5 $48,507). Who wants to own a Honus Wagner card that hardly anyone else in the hobby has?
