Period Honus Wagner cards have been on fire in recent years. Freshly slabbed at the National, this is a choice card. Notable for lovely pastel background coloring, this is an extremely attractive card of the beloved and vital Wagner. Clean with no obvious creasing, the card has nice white borders. The back is strong, the borders look good. Corner wear is present, the imagery is terrific. Conservatively graded, we have seen many inferior examples to this card in 3 holders. The winning bidder should really enjoy this fine Honus Wagner card from a vital early 19th century caramel set.
