The 1950 Topps Freedom?s War cards were one of the earliest non-sports trading card issues produced by Topps and are considered an important precursor to the company?s later dominance in both sports and entertainment collectibles. Released during the opening stages of the Korean War and the height of early Cold War patriotism, the set focused on modern military conflict, American armed forces, and anti-communist themes that reflected the political atmosphere of the era. The offered is uncommonly clean and crisp, we feel these grade a very solid Ex-Mt Plus overall.
