A vital piece, this is one of the most attractive of all Honus Wagner cards. An absolute key to this white-hot set, this card is freshly slabbed and outstanding for the grade. The photo of a relaxed Wagner at bat displays perfectly, the surfaces are quite clean overall. The card has excellent image contrast and really pops. Mild wear at the top and bottom border led to the 1.5 grade, which is actually a really high grade for this set as they are on very fragile stock. A great card, who wants to open this for $500?
