The most difficult of the four 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth cards, the offered card is far, far superior to almost any other PSA 1 that one may ever see. Freshly slabbed, this is a really tough grade, we have seen many, many cards in 2s that do not look as good as the offered lot. Well centered, this card has beautiful color, a flawless image and bright white borders. The back has no paper loss, there are no technical flaws. Corner wear is certainly present, but it is not excessive for the grade and is also reasonably consistent. The back is perfectly clean. Remarkably, the card has no creasing. An ideal card for a wide range of collectors, this is twice as nice as the PSA 1 example of this same card that sold in our Feb. 11th auction ($7,233).
