Listing Details

Offered is a well preserved 3x5 memo book from the 1950s. Notable as it is filled with 57 period signatures, the HOFers are a Rookie Drysdale (2), Herman, a very early Koufax, Walter O'Malley (2), Reese, Jackie Robinson, Snider, Vin Scully and Dick Williams (2). A rare combination, this is a very desirable piece. The non-HOF signatures include Jim Gilliam (2, D'1977), Happy Felton, Carl Furillo and Charlie Neal. The autographs are in super bold period blue ballpoint ink and look terrific. Several are on both sides, but not all. A wonderful homage to the 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers, these will be worth some real money graded and slabbed, but we hope for sentimental reasons that this goes to a collector and stays intact. The offered lot is truly one of the very finest 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers team signed pieces that we have ever seen, in particular due to the inclusion of two Walter O'Malleys and a very young Vin Scully. Superb. PSA DNA (full).
