An extremely scarce issue, these were only issued in 1908 and are very distinct from the more common first series 1907 Dietsche Tigers postcards as the names are printed on the front of the card. These are prized by collectors of this issue. A 19-card run that is inferior to the offered lot in our opinon brought $6,900 in 2024. The offered lot is just missing Beckendorf and Cobb for completion. The offered cards are all freshly slabbed and present well for the grade.
