A truly iconic card, this is the only vintage Mickey Mantle card that was produced from an original painting. The absolute key to the second Topps set, these almost always have major condition issues. The offered card has a crystal clear and superb image. The corners come to points, the centering is good. The red borders show hardly any wear. The borders are clean, with just some very subtle toning at the lower right. The back is crisp and quite clean. Great card.
