The ultimate pairing of talent in the entire history of baseball, the names Ruth and Gehrig are paired together magically in the minds of every baseball fan. Baseballs exclusively signed by these two legends are revered by collectors. These can come around in high grade and sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars and also in very low grade, often on a very rough ball and sometimes with a clubhouse signature of Ruth or Gehrig. The offered ball is a very, very solid mid to better grade exemplar. The ball itself is a reasonably clean Spalding Official League Cork Center multicolor stitched baseball. The sweet spot is signed by Babe Ruth, this is a large, fine and classic Ruth autograph that looks great, Lou Gehrig signed to the left of Ruth, this is a large, flowing and very attractive signature with a very pretty look to it. 1929 is written on the top panel, this is almost certainly when this baseball was signed. A terrific signed baseball, this could be the kind of thing that will instantly elevate the status of so many collections. These also seem like incredible bargains in light of what the 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig cards trade for even in low grade in today s market. PSA DNA (full).
