Listing Details

An extremely scarce and super desirable TY Cobb card, many consider this to be his Rookie Card. Three examples traded in 2025: PSA 4 $36,600, PSA 2 $20,713 and SGC 3.5 $31,268. Freshly slabbed, out example has a truly superb photo that almost seems to jump off the card. The larger size allows for an outstanding picture, this is a great photo of a so-young Ty Cobb fully extended to make a play in the field. We cannot see any creases or wrinkles, even under magnification. The back appears to be perfectly clean, the corner wear is not bad at all. The front of the card has some type of general surface wear and displays well overall. The photo contrast really makes this card. Yiu have to love the text on the back, written so early in Cobb's career: Cobb...is recognized all over the country as one of the most sensational players the game has ever had. How accurate! Who wants to own one of the very best Ty Cobb cards?
